ZetaChain token holders approved Proposal 68 with 99.4% of votes in favor, according to The Block's report on the governance result. Participation reached 58%, above the 40% quorum cited in the report.
The proposal authorizes a wind-down of ZetaChain's Layer 1 and a move of the ZETA token to Solana. The vote is a governance decision about the network's direction. It does not by itself complete a token migration or set the final claim process.
The next step is another proposal covering the migration mechanism, timing and user protections. Until that vote and its implementation details are published, holders should treat the conversion path, snapshot rules and withdrawal deadlines as unresolved.
The governance portal remains the place to check the proposal record and later execution notices. The current result should therefore be read as approval of a plan, not as proof that the Layer 1 has already shut down.
