API3 presents AirnodeHub as an early-access marketplace where software agents can find and use APIs. An agent can describe what it needs in ordinary language. The Hub returns candidate operations with their parameters, prices and operator details, checked against the listing registry. Developers can also browse the catalogue directly. Each listing points to an Airnode that describes its available operations and accepts requests for them. airnodehub-docs.api3.org
Every current listing is free to call during early access. The documentation also describes x402 support for priced operations: a wallet can authorize a USDC payment for an individual request without an account or API key. For providers, the offering combines an API description, an Airnode deployment and a curated marketplace listing. AirnodeHub currently handles those integrations itself. The longer-term design lets providers operate their own Airnode, while the marketplace supplies interface work, listing and marketing.
